48 Hour Zombie Movie Challenge/ Cannes 2010

Nelson-productions founder Joel Carr took part in this years 48 hour Zombie movie challenge over Halloween as Co-director, Co-producer, co-writer and actor with the Birmingham based team Bad Gas featuring Jack Meredith, Andy Sones and James Harris. After a a week wait and a screening in London our 3 minute Zombie comedy was selected as the winner out of 300 applicants. The film will be played at Cannes.

Nelson-productions has been involved as co-director to the Learning English Video Project available to watch at www.englishclub.com. The series explores why people around the world want and need to learn English Language. The project has spanned North and South America, Europe, Africa and Asia.

Nelson-Productions is a videography company specialising in the production of first class videos for a wide range of events including, Weddings, Music Videos, Corporate Promotional Videos and Special Events.

Joel Carr the creator behind Nelson-Productions is a graduate of Plymouth University where he crafted his skills in film and photography.
Since graduating he has worked as a camera operator on a series of projects ranging from feature films in the USA, to documentaries in Africa and Europe as well as Weddings and Special Events in the UK.
He is currently working on a number of Corporate Promotional Videos for companies in the UK and developing projects with musicians from and around the West Midlands, whilst still focusing on the production of Wedding Videography and Special Events
